01 / 04 — OVERVIEW

The Cooling Conveyor Belt provides controlled strand cooling between the extruder die and the pelletizer. Standard lengths of 30 cm and 50 cm accommodate different residence-time requirements; custom lengths are available on request. Variable belt speed synchronizes with extruder output to maintain consistent strand tension. The conveyor mounts at extruder discharge height and feeds directly into the strand pelletizer or hot die pelletizer. Stainless steel frame and food-contact-compatible belt materials are standard.
