01 / 04OVERVIEW

The ZE9 bridges the gap between the gram-scale ZE5 and the production-scale ZE12. A 9 mm co-rotating twin-screw with 14.5 Nm maximum torque and 200 bar pressure capacity, it handles mid-range formulation development where batch sizes exceed what the ZE5 can process efficiently but full 12 mm throughput is unnecessary. The same modular barrel architecture, Siemens S7-1500 control, and 316L stainless contact surfaces carry over from the ZE5 platform. The ZE9 is the natural scale-up step in a Three-Tec workflow — formulations developed on the ZE5 transfer directly with matched screw geometries.
