The ZD 5 FB is a flat-tray feeder designed for ultra-low volumetric feed rates from 0.003 to 1.45 l/h. Five-millimeter metering tools — screws, discs, and paddles — are interchangeable for different powder and granule morphologies. The 0.1 l hopper is sized for precious materials and early-phase screening where minimum API waste matters. Feeds directly into ZE-series extruders via a standard flange connection. The flat-bottom tray design eliminates dead zones and ensures complete material discharge.
