01 / 04 — OVERVIEW

The ZD 5 FB i6000 adds gravimetric precision to the ZD flat-tray platform. Siemens WL260 SP-S AE load cells paired with a WP 231 weighing processor deliver ±0.015% dosing accuracy with real-time loss-in-weight feedback. The IP 65-rated enclosure protects the weighing system in wash-down and contained environments. Optional configurations include full GMP documentation, FDA-compliant 316L contact surfaces, and ATEX certification for Zone 20/21 explosive-atmosphere operation. Feeds directly into ZE-series extruders or operates standalone as a precision dosing station.
