01 / 04 — OVERVIEW
The ZD 9 FB pairs a flat-bottom tray with 9 mm twin-screw metering tools for a wider range of powder and granule morphologies than the ZD 5 FB. Feed rate range of 0.003 to 1.45 l/h spans micro-batch screening through continuous production dosing. Twin-screw metering provides more consistent discharge for cohesive and bridging-prone materials. Designed as the primary feeder for the ZE9 and ZE12 extruders, and as a secondary feeder in multi-component formulations. 316L stainless contact surfaces with optional gravimetric upgrade.
