Food and nutraceutical formulators use extrusion to encapsulate sensitive bioactives, texturize plant proteins, and produce uniform micro-pellets for capsule filling or sachet packaging. The Three-Tec platform processes heat-sensitive ingredients at controlled low temperatures with residence times short enough to preserve bioactivity. The ZE5 and ZE9 handle formulations from single grams for proof-of-concept to kilogram batches for sensory panels. All wetted parts are 316L stainless steel (Ra 0.8 µm), and the system is available in cGMP configuration for nutraceutical production under quality agreements.
